Slices of the City presents the reconstruction of cumulative walks taken over the course of the first week in Paris, France. GPS data was harvest from 8 walks from Wan Kyn’s residency in France. Creating forms through parametric algorithm, the data is transformed through software that is typically used in engineering and architecture to mirror the parallels of the city while also reflecting upon the concepts of spatial memory through data visualisation to layers akin to the layers of a journey of exploration or everchanging urban structures of the of the city being layered over the past and into the future.
